Shortly after the turn of the Millennium, these half rim cat eye glasses were a welcome find in a charity shop in the central part of Ireland. The style is highly reminiscent of the classic cat eye glasses made by Nylor in the early 1960's. However, this pair looked brand new so perhaps it's a remake from the seventies or the eighties. Sightings of elderly ladies in cat eye glasses were not uncommon in England and Ireland during the 1980's.
