Mia 002

The eccentric Lord Lentilux was sent by His Ladyship on a weekend trip to Paris for distraction and a change of scenery. There had been too much on his mind during the preceding months so a few days abroad might cheer him up. Unfortunately, his Lady Nel was unable to join him as she was scheduled for two busy weeks in China.
Lord Lentilux had a pleasant journey to Paris and he found his hotel after a bit of searching in the early evening. He found his room up to specification and enjoyed a good night's sleep. He woke up next morning, had an opulent breakfast and then decided to see what the surroundings of the hotel looked like. It was a grey, cold day but being a seasoned mountain climber, the cold did not bother him. Besides, a bit of fresh air would be good.
He soon discovered a small park just around the corner. The atmosphere was quiet. Apparently there were no other visitors in the park, just a couple of gardeners.
All of a sudden, an unusual phenomenon in the distance caught the attention of His Lordship. It looked as if the light was changing in an erratic manner. The phenomenon seemed to be limited within a radius of ten yards or so.
Curiosity took over and Lord Lentilux walked in the direction of the changing light. To his surprise, he saw a young lady sitting on a bench and she seemed to be in the focus of the changing light. He stepped closer and then discovered that the young lady had her eyes closed, as if she was meditating.
She was dressed in black and what struck him most was her very long hair, flowing like a cascade towards her waist. She seemed to be a copper blonde but at intervals her hair lit up and she became a redhead. His Lordship looked towards the sky but it was dull and grey so it was not the sun that caused the light phenomenon. Instead, the young lady herself seemed to be the center of the changing light. He was fascinated by the unknown phenomenon and stood observing it without disturbing the young lady with whatever she was doing.
