Farishta 857

These nameless but striking bifocals were acquired in Germany where retro fashion arrived a few years later than in Holland. The marble structure of the frame indicates that the glasses were made in the early 1990's. Like the preceding Sferoflex glasses, this pair was only featured in one photo shoot, with Charlotte in 2010. It was - and still is - difficult to come across quite longsighted models. They seem to be far more shy about their looks in glasses than shortsighted models. As a result, Charlotte remained the only longsighted model for three years. Then I discovered the portfolio of freelance model Bonnie from Limerick and she kindly agreed to do a photo shoot for me. Hundreds of fine glasses are patiently waiting for their turn to be shown in a photo shoot. It's great that Farishta was interested to be transformed into a plus model during her previous photo shoot and even better that we could repeat the procedure in the new photo shoot. The search for longsighted models continues.
