Farishta 851

One of the first things that struck me when first landing in Ireland during the late 1970's was the abundance of longsighted women in the streets. A Dublin optician told me that he was selling more glasses to longsighted clients than to shortsighted clients. Nowadays myopia seems to be more wide spread in Ireland - a part of a global trend - but longsighted ladies are not become white ravens.
