Rodenstock from Germany is a company with a solid reputation and a rich history. They settled for trend followers rather than trend setters. The philosophy behind their frame design was that glasses should be complimentary without changing the essential characteristics of the client. It's safe to say that their policy paid off.
My collection hosts some 150 examples of their work. Some 80 pairs were shown in previous photo shoots but the pair shown by Farishta makes its first appearance here. Small wonder - as a stand alone object, these glasses are anything but striking.
It takes a good model to let these granny glasses speak and sure enough, Farishta managed with ease. Judge for yourself and feel free to disagree....
