Neostyle first caught my attention in 1971 when several of their frames were shown in a magazine advert, urging the public to replace their outdated glasses for modern, larger frames. My collection hosts several Neostyle glasses from the early 1970's and it is my belief that these "Gladys" glasses are the earliest pair. An educated guess is 1968 or 1969. The right lens is almost twice as strong as the left lens, but Sandra clearly had no problem with the resulting monovision. Good!
