Rodenstock had a bestseller with these glasses, made for their Exclusiv series around 1980. The frame is subtle and even elegant. It came in two sizes and this is the smaller version. My collection hosts four examples of this best seller. In the heyday of the large frames, a lady with a narrow PD was desperate to find a smaller frame to suit her face. Rodenstock followed the example given by Silhouette, broadening the scope of their design to cater for all tastes and preferences.
