These striking half rim cat eye glasses were acquired in the central part of Ireland, some fifteen years ago. The style is late 1950's but the material and the mint shape of the glasses would lead me to believe that they were made much later. Cat eye glasses remained popular in Ireland, long after the style had become out of fashion on the continent during the mid 1960's.
