Another name for the face à main is lorgnette. The face à main was very popular among the upper classes in society for many decades and it can be seen in portraits made as late as 1920. Technically speaking it's a mistake to call it "glasses" but it had the same function. It's always an interesting experience for my models to give the face à main a try and especially for Bonnie as the lenses are not far from her own prescription.
