These glasses were acquired in Co. Mayo, Ireland about ten years ago. An example of "bringing it all back home". They were featured in one of the photo shoots with Marieke, my climbing partner in the Alps, two years ago (second weblog, Marieke 137). The Rx of the lenses is far below Bonnie's own prescription but we decided to give them a try anyway. I made the journey to Ireland with some 150 glasses and quite a few had only a mild Rx. This time, most of the models only had a very mild prescription and Bonnie was the only model who really needed her glasses full time. The shape of the frame provides a fine blend with the shape of Bonnie's face, accentuating it rather than "compensating it" according to thumb rules. Nice!
