Bonnie 102

This wobbly, corrugated face à main is one of the oldest pieces in my collection. According to books on the history of glasses, it must be dated between 1880 and 1900. But what puzzles me is the fact that it is fitted with bifocal lenses. The segments for reading are circle shaped. I never came across another face à main with bifocal lenses. It does not seem very practical but of course, there were no cars or bicycles in those days.
