Posing in pince-nez is always "handle with care", especially when there is no piece of rope for security. Most of the antique portraits show a thin piece of rope attached to the eyelet in the pince-nez and the outfit. A full century ago, money was scarce so pince-nez wearers used a piece of rope as a security measure.

Aside from the sepia, some additional editing was done - I removed some graffiti from the wall. Graffiti - if it existed at all - was definitely unfashionable in 1913. Bad manners....
