Both glasses shown here by mother and daughter Juliana were acquired in Germany where retro frames took over a bit later than in the Netherlands. My guess is that the glasses were made in the early or perhaps even mid 1990's. Both pairs were selected with mother Juliana in mind because of the astigmatism in the lenses but during the selection process, daughter Juliana took a fancy to the slightly cat eye shaped pair by Le club Actif. Anyway, her mother clearly felt at ease when posing in the other pair so there was no rivalry between both models :)
