Silhouette from Austria was among the few companies that dared to brave the retro storm and they continued designing and manufacturing nice frames throughout most of the 1990's. Realizing that the days of striking, bold frames were over, even Silhouette toned down a bit. In later years, they found a new niche of their own, concentrating on discrete rimless frames. Maria liked these Silhouette glasses and this portrait is among my favorites from her entire photo shoot. Superb posing indeed!
