These beautiful glasses by Christian Dior were a buy at the famous "Waterlooplein" flea market in my native Amsterdam during the late 1980's. The glasses were in excellent condition and it was amazing that their first owner had thrown them out after only a few years of sporadic use. Perhaps she had an increase in her prescription. Anyway, it's great to give this work of art by the great Christian Dior a second life in photo shoots. The glasses really suit Beata and the classic combination with the hat is simply irresistible. I like the touch of melancholy in this portrait.
