Before the late 1960's, all amateur photography was done in black and white. The arrival of color photography in the Netherlands did not mean high quality pictures straightaway. Many pictures tended to lose some of the colors after a while. This portrait comes close to what my earliest attempts at color photography look like in the old albums.
