There is a nice element of innocent intimacy in this "glasses relay" part of Lydia's photo shoot. Again, Lydia is using the reading segment of the orange Metzler bifocals to get an enlarged view of the next candidate, cat eye glasses made in the early 1960's. From a chronology point of view, the reverse combination would have made more sense but the glasses relay was a spontaneous idea from my side and the use of the bifocals puts an additional accent on Lydia's concentration.
