More black and white nostalgia.... There is no brand name on these glasses, except a faint imprint on the plastic around the metal end of the arms. The glasses were made during the brief transition period between the cat eye era and the compact, solid frames of the mid 1960's. the front of the frame is black with a nice opal part at the corners. This opal was often seen in 1964 but soon disappeared from the streets. The glasses were shown in at least five previous photo shoots (Hiska 060, Marieke 145, Miriam 025, Sjoukje 008, Jennifer 043) and also by Hiska during the catwalk at the opening of my first exhibition in 2010.
