Glasses and pearls are an irresistible combination. I only noticed the pearls when we took our seats in the café. Sonia kindly met my request to show them. During the classic cat eye era (c. 1955 - 1963 in the Netherlands), many girls and women in glasses were wearing pearls. Childhood memories and sweet nostalgia....
