Cat has a prescription of only -1.00 but she loves her own glasses and she even wears two Chanel pairs, depending on her outfit of the day. We had a nice email exchange when arrangements were made and it was immediately clear that Cat was curious and highly motivated to work with me. She commented that my project was very unusual but very interesting.
The standard procedure during photo shoots is that the model starts posing in glasses with a Rx close to her own prescription. The vast majority of the models (also models with a substantial prescription) prefer this procedure as it gives them a gentle start and an opportunity to get into the flow gradually. However, there have been a few notable exceptions like young Leah, an experienced freelance model from Dublin. Much to my surprise, Leah simply picked what happened to be on top in the box and it soon turned out that she trusted on her imagination and great acting talent.
Cat was a similar surprise to me. The second pair she took from the box was this modern pair of Zenni glasses, fitted with lenses of minus eight.
