In her modeling profile, Juliette states that she really likes the style of the 1950's. The strong lenses in the glasses (minus twelve) add to the nostalgic feel of these portraits. Contact lenses only became available during the late 1960's when cat eye glasses had disappeared from the streets of Amsterdam.
