Fine posing by lovely Clare in yet another example of the same Maya glasses by Rodenstock. The frame was immensely popular in the mid 1960's. It came in three different colours: orange (for blondes), brown and black (for brunettes). The orange version was featured in two photo shoots (Gita 113, Daisy 037) but no longer in shape for photo shoots after one of the arms broke. My collection hosts another example of the black frame and this was used in five photo shoots (Clarine 054, Farishta 161, Gita 111, Daphne 033, Leah 047). The black version shown here by Clare was featured in only one previous photo shoot (Brigitta 090) and selected for Clare as the lenses are nearer to her own prescription.
