Lydia kindly agreed to pose in a number of contemporary glasses with strong minus lenses, leaving most of the selection process to her companion and myself. Pretty much the same way a very myopic lady has to rely on the opinion of a friend and / or her optician when she is trying out new frames - only the other way round :).
