Lydia 025
Neostyle was a popular brand in the early 1970's, instrumental in spreading the popularity of large frames with new design and new materials. Here Lydia shows one of their early efforts in a contemporary way. Orange was a highly popular frame colour during the second half of the 1960's but it was considered a good choice for blondes only. Any blonde choosing brown or black frames had a problem with her optician first and when she stuck to the idea, she got critical remarks from her peer group :). Over four decades later, things have changed for the better. Many blondes are sporting bold black hipster glasses in the streets so what's wrong with a brunette in orange glasses, especially when it's "only" for a photo shoot?
