The couture house Pierre Cardin was among many who followed in the footsteps of Christian Dior when they opened their glasses line in 1976. These Cardin glasses fit into the category "not for the fainthearted". What sets them apart is the trapezoid shape. The glasses would not suit many in everyday life but they tickle the curiosity. As a result, they have been a favourite among my models, right from the start of the project.
