These fine glasses were acquired in Switzerland near the turn of the Millennium. The frame is made of a material called optyl. The first brand that used optyl was the famous Christian Dior who took the stage by storm with their revolutionary first collection of frames in 1976. The glasses shown here by Julia are very reminiscent of Christian Dior glasses made in 1977 and 1978 - the colour of the frame, the straight arms and so on. All that is missing is the CD logo on the frame....
