Another experiment with myodisc glasses is shown in this exceptional portrait. Lenses above minus ten have plano fronts. This is done to keep the lenses as thin as possible. Plano fronts reflect the light in a different way than the slightly convex fronts of lenses used for milder prescriptions. The flash of my camera and the plano front of the lens create a visual barrier without obscuring Sonia's left eye. For the record, this final series is not about beauty but about lenses and their special effects. Sonia's beauty is shown throughout all the preceding sections of her photo shoot in a glorious way!
