The lenses in these cat eye glasses are "only" minus eight but Zenni had to bevel the edges of the standard 1.57 lenses to make sure that the glasses could be folded neatly for their journey to Europe. They never charge anything for this additional work. The effect is somewhat similar to a myodisc lens but there is no carrier lens. It's just beveling under an angle of 45 degrees.
