These giant tortoise shell glasses appeared in the Zenni catalog early in 2012 and I ordered them straightaway. When the glasses arrived, I showed them to my Lady Nel and her reaction was pure disbelief: "Are you telling me that these are brand new? I had exactly the same glasses when I was twenty!". We checked Nel's photo album from the mid 1970's and it turned out that her own giant glasses were rather similar but not identical. Frame size was at its peak in the mid 1970's and many brands supplied them. Needless to say, Nel was the first model who posed in the brand new pair.
