But let's return to lovely Sonia.... It's safe to say that Sonia and I share a fascination for glasses but my endless lectures about their history and development may be a bit too much at times. The pizza box filled with glasses for Sonia contained mainly glasses that fitted into her preferential styles but I took the liberty to introduce her to several styles not chosen by her for use in everyday life. Broaden the horizon with some eye openers, if you wish. Of all the glasses Sonia tried out, these extravagant large cat eye glasses were probably the furthest away from the styles she regards compatible with her face. What you see in this series is posing based on directions from my side. It was highly interesting to see the changing aspect of her face in cat eye glasses, seen from a variety of vantage points. Of course, this effect was further accentuated by the ear pearls. This series could be called "the many faces of Sonia". No other pair of glasses featured in this photo shoot brought along so much variety.
Technical note: this capture looked like an immediate write off when it first appeared on my computer screen as the flash of my camera produced lots of reflection in the lenses. However, this photo was needed to complete the exploration so a lot of editing went into it.
