Morel is a well known global brand, started way back in 1880 when a young farmer called Jules Morel from the French Jura set up a small business as a "pince-nez finisher" during the winter season. In spring, Jules returned to full time small scale farming, happily leaving the pile of post he received from customers, subcontractors and eyewear merchants to pile up over the summer season.
