The second pair of glasses used in the boutique is characteristic for the frame style of the mid 1960's. It put an end to the cat eye era in 1963 / 1964 and disappeared upon the arrival of larger frames in 1967 / 1968. The solid, compact style did not suit all faces but I clearly remember that it was quite flattering on many girls at school.
