Essel was a well known brand in the 1960's and 1970's. My collection hosts about half a dozen of their glasses of which this "Coquine" cat eye pair is the earliest. The glasses were featured in many previous photo shoots, including five in Ireland (Beata 001, Leah 003, Colleen 010, Lydia 152, Simona 095) and more recently Severine in Paris.
