The Rx of the progressive lenses in these early Christian Dior glasses is unusual. The first owner of the glasses had a slightly longsighted left eye and a fairly shortsighted right eye. Here Cat is showing the tiny image of the gate in the background seen through the right lens. Posing in these Christian Dior glasses called for additional concentration from the model's side as her own prescription is halfway both lenses in this pair.
