It's always a pleasure to see a model getting into her stride during the first ten minutes of a photo shoot. Here Severine is not bothered by the prescription in the lenses as it's only +0.25. Nowadays, many young women are sporting glasses with plano lenses as a fashion statement. However, these "Coquine" glasses were made over fifty years ago. In those days, many girls only started to appear in glasses part time after their prescription had gone up to -1.50 or -2.00. Full time wear only started when the prescription had reached -3.00. Glasses were not really accepted yet and they were far more expensive in the early 1960's than they are now. In other words, the first owner of the glasses must have been a real fashionista who could afford the price.
