Flamed brown frames were highly popular during the mid 1970's and here is a fine example. The first owner of this pair hated her glasses but she never threw them out. When I made her acquaintance in 1996, she heard about my collection and then kindly presented me with a box containing all her old glasses. A few months later, we went through her photo albums and this enabled me to put a year of manufacture to each pair. Or to be more precise, the year in which the lady bought the glasses. The striking pair shown here by Farishta was featured previously in my photo shoots with Nanda (2010), Karen and Astrid (2011).
