There is an amusing contradiction in portraits like this. When Farishta put up these Metzler glasses, her eyesight was as if her contact lenses had just disappeared. Perhaps it was even slightly worse because of the centrifugal effect of the +6 lenses in the glasses. The lenses have an unusually strong add of +4.00. In spite of this handicap, Farishta was well able to produce one lovely portrait after the other. Great!
