These large glasses by OWP (Optische Werke Passau) were acquired in Germany just before the start of my portrait photography project. The retro era started in 1988/89 in the Netherlands but later in the surrounding countries so my guess is that these OWP glasses were made in the late 1980's. OWP has been in business since the late 1940's but so far, I never came across one of their pairs made before the 1980's.
