At some stage during the photo shoot, Iris asked me "I really like your large vintage glasses from the 1970's and 1980's. But I see this style nowhere in the shops. Why don't they make glasses like these anymore? ". A good question, also asked by Sohaila and several other models. Needless to say, it has to do with the often exaggerated dictate of fashion, which in itself is a timeless phenomenon. But it would be a bit silly to answer these models that they were born three decades too late.
Iris was right. Many large glasses from the Golden Era really suited her perfectly, more than any other style. A soft focus editing tool was used to create an elongated effect in this fine portrait.
