Glasses: Minerva, made circa 1960

When I started collecting glasses in my student days, these vintage cat eye glasses by Minerva were a buy at the "Waterlooplein" flea market in Amsterdam. If my memory serves me correctly, the price was one guilder. These archetypal glasses are liked by many models and as a result, they are often featured in my photo shoots. This fine portrait of Sjoukje was edited in black and white for a bit of additional nostalgic feel.
