Glasses: Cazal, circa 1996

During my first photo shoot with Juliette (October, 2013), we ran out of time and there was no opportunity to use the modern glasses from my collection. Juliette kindly volunteered to do another photo shoot with the remaining glasses.
Meanwhile, a masterpiece by Cazal was sent by Maureen and Frank, a friendly couple from England. Cazal designed and manufactured a series of extraordinary glasses during the 1980's and early 1990's. Their style was consistent and may be described as "not for the fainthearted". Maureen is rather light sensitive so she prefers tinted lenses. Equally remarkable was her choice for trifocals. Her optician did a fine job and the dividing lines are almost invisible. All in all, a most welcome addition to my collection.
When preparing for the photo shoot with Juliette, it seemed a good idea to bring the Cazal glasses. Juliette has a prescription of minus five and during her first photo shoot, she managed quite well when posing in stronger glasses. When it came to the selection process, Juliette was all go to give the Cazal glasses a try. Unfortunately, this is the only portrait that came out sharp enough to be posted here. After a lapse of four months, it took my camera a minute or so to produce good pictures but this portrait came out fine.
