Simona was among the very last models who reacted on my casting call in the Dublin area. After seeing her fantastic portfolio I appointed her "supersub" in case any model in my full schedule would drop out. When a very late cancellation arrived, I contacted Simona straightaway and we agreed to meet at Bray Station late in the afternoon of the same day. The weekend had yielded several cases of "no show" and I was delighted to see Simona arriving at the opposite platform. Upon my request, she arrived wearing her own glasses. This makes it easier for me to recognize the model in the crowd but looking back, there was no need. Even from a distance, there was no doubt - a beautiful young lady with all the hallmarks of a great model. This series in the "Venus" glasses testifies to that. The five portraits were taken within half a minute and nothing had to be left out. The "Venus" glasses suit Simona extraordinary well and she had the advantage that the lenses were only a touch above her own prescription. Hat off for Simona!
