Simona 008 - 011

Simona is in her mid twenties but she only got her first pair of prescription glasses only fairly recently. It's a rare thing to happen but it happens! Upon my request, she arrived in her glasses when we met at Bray Station. At some stage I asked her about the prescription and it was a bit higher than one would expect for a first pair ever. If my memory serves me correctly, it was -1.75 but it may have been -1.25. During the selection process in the B&B we put the glasses in two boxes. The glasses with a mild minus prescription and four empty frames went into the first box and the strong minus glasses filled the second box. It seemed a good idea to start with the empty frames, followed by the glasses with mild prescriptions and to end with the strong glasses. Except for the last couple of glasses shown in this memorable photo shoot, the chronology is followed during the posting. Of the non-prescription pairs, these Cameo glasses struck me as the best blend but this may be influenced by the glare, suggesting that there was at least something going on in the lenses :).
