Two versions of the same portrait of Leah posing in black "Maya" glasses. Putting an exact year on vintage glasses is often impossible but in this case I'm certain that the glasses were made in 1965. I had a crush on a girl named Inez and she switched to Maya glasses by the end of that year.
To quote the legendary uilleann piper and story teller Seámus Ennis (1919 - 1982) from Finglas, North Co. Dublin:
