Freelance model Leah posing in Essel glasses from the 1960's with a marginal prescription of +0.25. She told me that she did not need glasses but she was interested in doing a photo shoot in vintage glasses. All in all, Leah posed in no less than four dozen pairs, covering a time span of over a century and an amazing prescription range from +7 to -25. The usual procedure is to start with mild glasses and then making the step towards stronger glasses. However, Leah did not need a mild start and in fact, she posed in whatever laid on top in the boxes. This saved time and it was an amazing experience to see all the changes. However, for the documentary of this photo shoot, my choice was to pretend that we followed the standard procedure.
