Another Waterlooplein flea market find, these Minerva glasses have been in my collection since the early 1970's. One of the arms is a bit wonky but otherwise this pair is still in a good condition. There is no anti-reflective coating on the glass lenses, so taking satisfactory portraits is a matter of choosing the vantage point with care. The glasses have been quite popular among models since the start of my project and they have been featured in at least twenty photo shoots. Forty five years ago, I never expected that these glasses would one day travel with me abroad to Belgium, France, Germany, England, Ireland and Greece....
