Nicci 039
These Lindeberg glasses were another welcome find at the Waterlooplein flea market in my native Amsterdam during the late 1980's. They mark the gradual transition from the bold styles of the 1970's to the more refined style of the 1980's. Unisex glasses were usually only the silver hippie glasses (John Lennon style) but the rest of the available frames were still sharply defined by the "men" and "women" categories. However, I clearly remember seeing this Lindeberg glasses used by women and men alike.
Nicci and I needed not to worry about any interference by the park guard approaching in the background. Photography is allowed in the Pavilion Gardens as long as it's not heavy gear and in nobody's way. The guard probably noticed that we were standing just a few feet from the alarm at the back of the Royal Pavilion. No further trespassing was done so we kept it at the safe side.
