For many years I thought that the Paris designer of these glasses was called Pintin but it turns out that his name is Pinton. This is the only pair from this brand in my collection. The glasses were a buy in a Dublin charity shop. It's hard to guess the age of the glasses. The style was not uncommon around 1970 but the material suggests a much later date, perhaps 1990. Whatever their age, the glasses were an instant hit among models at the start of my project and this has never changed. A remarkable thing about these glasses is that they suit all hair colours. They were used at the opening of my first photography exhibition, Mirjam being the model who performed the catwalk in them.
