These white and red Rodenstock glasses were a present from a generous model called Carla, five years ago. They were her very first glasses and she only used them when it was necessary, like going to the cinema with the young man she later married. He'd hidden his own glasses as well and they both cracked up when they saw each other in glasses in the dark. They later decided that the two pairs should always remain together, just like their owners. And so they did, even after the couple donated them to me. Still do. A promise is a promise....
