Xenia 014
The young lady picked the next pair out of the box. "No shop windows this time. A bit of contrast may be good. How old are these?"
"Even older than the previous pairs. They were made in 1969 or 1970. Many girls in Amsterdam sported them in those years. Again, be careful when you put them up"
"I see. One of the arms is broken near the end. You have an amazing collection, it's a real time machine"
She put on the glasses and had a look in the hand mirror.
"Is everything alright, Xenia? You don't look enthusiast this time"
"Don't get me wrong. The lenses don't give me the same good eyesight and this frame is confusing me a bit. I don't know whether I like it or not"
"Can I take a picture?"
"Please do. What do you think of my looks?"
"Fantastic. The frame follows your eyebrow shape perfectly. It's solid but it has an interesting, mellow effect"
"Perhaps it's confusing to me that you have such a variety in styles. None of your glasses look like what people are wearing now"
